Potential for development beef cattle in the Agro Techno Park Guguak, West Sumatra-Indonesia

Abstract The Agro Techno Park (ATP) area was built with the aim of facilitating research, education, dissemination and acceleration transfer agricultural technology produced by government agencies, universities collaboration other multi actors. concept developed in Guguak is an integrated model that integrates agriculture animal husbandry, especially beef cattle food crops. purpose this paper to analyze potential for development area. This research conducted area, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, West Sumatra 2021. using data collection methods through brainstorming manager, livestock researchers, actors analysis secondary. Data used SWOT preparation strategies a series quantitative calculations resource analysis. Based on results it has strengths opportunities, such as optimizing use means education disseminating innovations support crop waste, crops feed, which can overcome problem lack feed availability.
